A. hi Jess,I think the two previous answers are a good start but for a long term solution and to save a little money for retirement and future vacations from your yard I would have a professional develop a phased master plan that will provide you with an environment that will require little or no maintenance but also enhance and compliment your outside environment. You are a grandmother and you grew up in the country, maybe you would like to have a low maintenance naturalistic landscape. Once established and properly installed, a naturalistic landscape requires little attention. A local designer or landscape architect can provide you with a maintenance free design that you can truly LIVE with. Take Care and best of everything, Phillip
